We wanted to let you know that plans are well advanced for this year’s event. Following feedback from 2012 we have made some changes.
Firstly we are writing to all shops in the town asking you if you wish to have first refusal on a stall in the town to complement your business. The pitches are £40 each (£10 for charities) and the plan can be found at: www.dorchesterchristmascracker.co.uk Pitches are on a first come first served basis. We have also launched a Facebook page, just search Dorchester Christmas Cracker.
We have also put the pitches closer together and put more pitches in the pedestrian area of South Street to ensure there is a flow across the whole town.
Any Children’s rides will not be blocking the flow of pedestrians and we will ensure that no large catering units are in the town.
We will also launch for the first time a Christmas Craft Fair in the Corn Exchange on Cracker Night with tables being booked for £10 each. These can be booked via: www.dorchesterchristmascracker.co.uk.
We will again be producing 5000 programmes for the event to be distributed free during the weeks before the Christmas Cracker night. If you wish to advertise please speak to Tracey Limm at Studio Print on 269988.
