Please join us for our May networking breakfast on Tuesday, 8th May 2018 from 7.45am to 9.00am, back at popular Carluccios in Brewery Square.

Our main speaker will be Anna Bright, Director of the brand new Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum. Anna will speak about the redevelopment of Shire Hall into an immersive and exciting new museum for Dorchester.

Opening in May, it will tell many stories of people whose lives were changed, and in some cases ended, by their experiences in this building. The £3.5m refurbishment was funded primarily by the Heritage Lottery Fund and West Dorset District Council and has brought this splendid building back to life.

Visitors will walk through the cells and courtroom in the footsteps of the thousands of accused people waiting to discover their fate upstairs in the court. There will be digital interactives, wigs, gowns and hats to try on, and lots of surprises to discover!

The museum will include a café and gift shop, and there will be meeting and function rooms to hire.
