Please join us for our November networking breakfast at The Sun Inn, Lower Burton, Dorchester, Dorset DT2 7RZ.

The main speaker will be John Scott, CEO of Autism Unseen.  With autism steadily on the rise, John will talk about how employers can get advice and support on the employment of young adults with autism.  National statistics show that only 15% of autistic adults are in full-time employment, so the situation surrounding employment needs to be tackled.  Young autistic adults can be an asset to any company; they are generally hard working, often very focused and fun to be around. Employers need to be made aware that autistic individuals are more than capable of working for a living and 79% of autistic individuals on Incapacity Benefit say they want to work.

John will also speak about the Kilimanjaro Challenge and how he will be leading a team of Autistic Young Adults to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa in August 2017.  This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to stand on the roof of Africa, a mega plus for your self confidence, and an opportunity to raise the profile of what it is like to suffer from Autism.  Participants and sponsors will also be helping to raise funds for Dig Deep, who supply sustainable clean water to the remote villages of Kenya.

With grateful thanks to our November Sponsor
