Dorset Museum & Art Gallery is calling on support to help raise funds for the acquisition and preservation of two rare pieces of molten gold.
Across Dorset, there will be many ways for people to improve their wellbeing through our programme of events and activities that will create opportunities for people to give, be active, learn, take notice and connect.
The money has been raised by supporters including DCH staff, individuals and local businesses taking part in the epic Jurassic Coast Challenge, completing the grueling 10km, 25km, 58km and 100km challenge over Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May.
The Dorset County Show has donated a total of £15,938 to Dorset charities. This year’s donations have been made to Julia’s House and the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI).
Dorset Visual Arts (DVA), in proud partnership with Dorset Museum & Art Gallery (DMAG), is delighted to launch a brand-new major open art competition marking a landmark first collaboration between these two leading cultural institutions.
