Even Keel Solutions Appoints Duncan Lyle as Director to Strengthen Insolvency Advice Services

Even Keel Solutions, the specialist business recovery and insolvency practice, today announces the appointment of Duncan Lyle as Director, effective 11th August 2025.

Duncan brings extensive experience in personal and corporate insolvency matters. Having qualified as an Insolvency Practitioner in 2008 he subsequently specialised in bankruptcy cases for the last decade.

In his new role as Client Operations Director and Insolvency Practitioner, Duncan will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the firm’s corporate and personal insolvency cases whilst managing and supporting the firm’s operational team. He will also lead the development of Even Keel Solutions’ bankruptcy advice, support and appointment services.

Duncan’s career in insolvency began in 1998 with a boutique practice in Cornwall, initially focusing on personal insolvency cases. In 2000, he relocated to Southampton to join a larger practice, where he expanded his expertise into corporate insolvency whilst managing cases from inception to completion. Most recently, he has spent the last 10-12 years concentrating on bankruptcy matters, including running the Southern Personal Insolvency department for a top 10 national accountancy firm.

“I am delighted to be joining the team at Even Keel Solutions,” said Duncan Lyle. “I am most looking forward to being part of a close-knit team who are clearly focussed on providing a friendly, professional and compassionate approach to clients and contacts alike.”

Dorothy Brown, Managing Director of Even Keel Solutions, commented: “Duncan will be a terrific addition to our team and I’m looking forward to welcoming him onboard.”

Duncan’s extensive experience in personal insolvency provides valuable insight into the severe effects of personal debt on individuals, enabling him to approach cases with empathy whilst maintaining the ability to identify and pursue those who are intentionally avoiding their financial obligations.

The appointment reflects Even Keel Solutions’ commitment to expanding its service offering and strengthening its expertise across all areas of insolvency practice. Duncan’s proven track record in managing complex personal insolvency cases will enhance the firm’s ability to support individuals facing financial difficulties whilst protecting stakeholder interests.

Founded as a specialist business recovery and insolvency practice, Even Keel Solutions provides comprehensive advice and support to businesses and individuals facing financial challenges. The firm’s approach combines technical expertise with a compassionate understanding of the human impact of financial distress.
