Please join us for our second Virtual Business Breakfast with speaker on Tuesday, 28th July 2020 from 9.00am to 10.00am
Finn Morgan, Business Engagement and Dorset Gateway Manager with Dorset Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) will speak about what the LEP is doing to support businesses around COVID-19 and other areas, such as EU transition and support for key sectors.
Finn will also address the proposed investment in infrastructure projects to benefit Dorset following the coronavirus crisis.
What projects do you think would benefit West Dorset? Come prepared for a Q&A session afterwards.
Dorset LEP works in partnership with businesses, local government, education institutes and other industry and community organisations to drive economic growth, attract funding and investment, increase productivity and develop local industrial strategies for Dorset. It also works closely with the Govt Department for International Trade to promote exporting, loan and grant funding, funded support/consultancy for scaling businesses and BID writing support.
Dorset LEP priorities are to:
Create new jobs
Attract new businesses and grow existing ones
Secure funding for projects that have long-term economic benefits
Develop skills, employment and career opportunities
Support the development of appropriate housing
This event will again be hosted by Steve Bulley, courtesy of Dorset Chamber’s Zoom platform.
This is a FREE event.
*The breakfast will be open to non-members, but priority will be given to Dorchester chamber members.
