The main speaker with be John Fiori, Chairman of Dorchester BID.
John will update members on the work of the Dorchester BID and its plans for the remainder of the current term.
A BID or Business Improvement District is a business led and business funded body formed to improve a defined commercial area.
The Dorchester BID has been responsible for brightening up the town over the summer with hanging baskets and Commonwealth flags to mark the Queen’s 90th birthday.
Other initiatives include training workshops on Twitter for business, Facebook for business, first aid and how to benefit from Tripadvisor.
The current DBID is half way through its five-year term and a re-ballot as to whether it will continue will take place in 2018.
