Dorset Museum & Art Gallery is calling on support to help raise funds for the acquisition and preservation of two rare pieces of molten gold.
Funding from the fourth round of the Museum Estate and Development Fund (MEND) has just been announced, seeing 29 museums up and down the country receiving a share of almost £25 million to upgrade their buildings including Dorchester Museum & Art Gallery.

This weekend marked the 184th year and is organised by the Dorchester Agricultural Society (DAS) and takes over a year to plan. Over 300 volunteers help put the show together – one of the largest agricultural shows in the South West. Next year the Show will take place on the 6th and 7th of September 2025.
