A letter to members from DCCI

Dear Affiliated Chamber Member

Dorset County Council has commissioned, jointly with Bath and North East Somerset and Wiltshire Councils, an economic study on the consequences of poor North-South links between the M4 and the South Coast, particularly the South Coast ports. The purpose is to evidence the economic benefits that could follow from substantial investment and to aggregate the costs to businesses as a consequence of doing nothing over the next 30 years.

You can find more about the study here at https://www.dorsetforyou.gov.uk/north-south-route  and on that page you will find a link to a survey where businesses can directly report how the impacts on their businesses of poor North-South links.  Anyone who would like to participate should complete the survey and we would be grateful if members could circulate it among appropriate contacts.

Kind regards

Vicki Hailes
