New Director at Shire Hall Museum

Dorchester Chamber for Business members Shire Hall Museum in Dorchester have announced their new Director, Nina, who will be starting in October.
Nina said: “I’m so excited to be taking on the role of Director at Shire Hall Museum in October. I’ve been working in heritage for over 15 years in a wide variety of sites, including museums, medieval underground passages, stately homes, a castle and a workhouse!
What really inspires me is people’s stories – particularly those that were less heard in society. Shire Hall has such a powerful story and I can’t wait to find out more about it and be part of its future. I look forward to meeting you all soon and getting to know you.”
Shire Hall Historic Courthouse Museum uncovers moving and important stories of everyday people’s interactions with the justice system since the late 18th century. It shows how the law affects all of us, and how we can also affect the law. The Museum makes this extraordinary building and these fascinating stories available and enjoyable for all.
