Social distancing in retail stores and warehouses

The British Retail Consortium (BRC) has compiled guidance notes for retailers on introducing social distancing in retail stores and warehouses.

While it is unclear when the non-food retail sector will re-open for business, the BRC recommends that retailers should plan ahead.

Working with BRC members and external stakeholders, the recommendations for introducing social distancing have been compiled into two categories:

  1. Warehouse and Distribution Settings
  2. Re-opening of other Retail Premises

Details of the social distancing guidance can be found on the BRC website.
