The money has been raised by supporters including DCH staff, individuals and local businesses taking part in the epic Jurassic Coast Challenge, completing the grueling 10km, 25km, 58km and 100km challenge over Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th May.
A new piece of equipment – the Transurethral Laser Ablation (TULA) device – worth £13,184.40 – has been purchased with funds raised by the Dorset County Hospital Charity, to benefit selected bladder cancer patients at Dorset County Hospital (DCH) in Dorchester.

A major bequest has funded the redevelopment of Dorset County Hospital’s Prince of Wales Renal Unit. Dorset County Hospital’s Haemodialysis Unit and Prince of Wales Ward form the renal hub for in-centre renal replacement therapy across Dorset and South Somerset.
