Our Learning Lunch on Thursday, 26th October 2017 at Borough Gardens House, Dorchester from 12.30pm to 2.00pm will be on health and wellbeing in the workplace – an introduction to mindfulness at work.
Verity Woodgate from The Resourcery will guide us on how to practice mindfulness at work. A growing body of evidence has found that when people intentionally practice being mindful they feel less stressed, anxious and depressed. Current research shows this practice has positive effects on health, including the mind, the brain, the body, and behaviour, as well as a person’s relationships with others.
Mindfulness can be used as a tool to manage your wellbeing and mental health at work and every aspect of your life. With good mental health, you can:
- Make the most of your potential
- Cope with life
- Play a full part in your family, workplace, community and among friends
A simple healthy lunch will be served.
**If you opt to Pay on the Day, there will be a £2 per person surcharge payable
