Battens supports local agricultural industry with sponsorship of four of the south west’s biggest trade shows

Battens Solicitors is proud to celebrate South West heritage by sponsoring not one, but four agricultural shows this summer. James Owen, Head of Agriculture and Rural Property at Battens Solicitor said he was delighted to announce the sponsorship.

“This year we are proud to sponsor the Yeovil Show, the Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show, the Mid Somerset Show in Shepton Mallet, and the Melplash Show in Bridport; Come along and join us for refreshments at any of the shows.  I am sure all visitors who come along and soak up the atmosphere, will be in for a treat.”

He added that agriculture has been the main stay of rural communities in the South West for centuries and as an industry it employs many hard-working people, but over the last few years they have faced some particularly tough challenges. “So it’s only right that we continue to show our support by flying the flag for this remarkable industry and sponsoring our local shows.”
