Dorchester Chamber for Business Secretary Stands Down

After over 6 years sterling service, Miranda Woodgate has decided that she wishes to pursue other activities and will shortly be standing down as Secretary for Dorchester Chamber for Business.  I am sure everyone will want to join with me in thanking her for all the hard work she has put into making the Chamber the success it now is and wish her every success for the future.   She will be remaining as a member and we will still see her at future events – though not standing behind the registration desk for a change!

This means that we are looking to appoint a new Secretary / Administrator to undertake a slightly revised role.

I have attached a Job Description outlining the main functions of the role.  If any members are interested or know of anyone who may be suited to the role, please get in contact, or pass the details along to them.

It is a part time role which we anticipate will be for up to 25 hours per month on average, although this will vary based on the number of events held during the month and at the year-end / AGM time.

The role is paid as an honorarium on a monthly basis.

Please get in contact if you would be interested in the role – or ask anyone you know who may be interested to get in contact with me, so that we can have an initial discussion.
