Milton Abbey is hosting two great events on Saturday the 11th August on the beautiful estate.
Golf Club Open Day
The first event is the Milton Abbey Golf Club Open Day from 9am to 1pm. The club is opening its doors to members of the public to go along and enjoy a free game of golf on the beautiful 9 hole course. The golf club will also be offering complimentary welcome refreshments and special membership discounts will be available on the day.
The Big Cream Tea
There is also The Big Cream Tea event on the Milton Abbey lawns at 2:30pm. You will be able to enjoy your choice of two delicious homemade sweet or savoury scones with tea or coffee, served outdoors on the stunning Abbey Lawn with magnificent views included!
Flavours to choose from include:
Bacon scones with cream cheese & tomato chutney
Blue cheese scones with cream cheese and onion marmalade
Date & walnut scones with clotted cream & marmalade
Lemon & thyme scones with clotted cream & lemon curd
Traditional plain scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam
