Learn Pottery with Channel 4’s Great Pottery Throw Down Finalist at Dorset Spring Show 2024!

The brand-new Dorset Spring Show at Kingston Maurward, Dorchester swings open its farm gates on Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th April to a weekend filled with Spring entertainment, demonstrations, and educational activities.

The Show welcomes a hands-on Pottery Workshop with Weymouth’s very own Channel 4 Great Pottery Throw Down Finalist Dan Sandham, alongside fellow contestant Ed King! Dan Sandham came runner up in the 2024 Great Pottery Throw Down which aired last month on Channel 4. He lives in Weymouth and has been potting for nearly ten years and loves throwing big pots. While Ed King is from Plymouth and a keen gardener who makes incredible abstract ceramics.

Celebrate Spring Food, Farming, Flowers and Rural Crafts at Kingston Maurward on 27th & 28th April. BMX Bikes, Dorset Foods, Rural Demonstrations and Dancing Sheep! Children go free and Adults are just £12 until 20th April. The gate price is just £15 per Adult and Children remain free!
