New offices after 60 years for local architects

After over 60 years in Princes Street Crickmay Stark Architects have moved premises.

Following the end of our lease, and after a long search, we have found a new home. Contractors have  been busy making the new offices ready at 57 High West Street, Dorchester, DT1 1UT.

A spokesperson person said: “Please bear with us during the week of 21st August whilst we transition from the old to the new and get ourselves sorted. If you have a project in progress you will be provided with mobile phone numbers so you can keep in touch with us during the move. Our office phones should only be out of use for a few hours whilst the tech teams disconnect from our current office and reconnect at our new office.”

We are excited for this next chapter in Crickmay Stark’s history – we are actually returning to High West Street, just a few doors down from the premises occupied by John Stark & Partners until 1961 and diagonally opposite where the Crickmay Partnership were based until 1999 – and look forward to welcoming you to our new offices soon.

Crickmay Stark Architects, formerly known as John Stark and Crickmay Partnership, was founded in 1999 following the amalgamation of two of the oldest Architectural Practices in the area, John Stark & Partners, whose origins can be traced back to 1867 with Mr Samuel Jackson, and the Crickmay Partnership who were established in 1850.

Directors Roger Hussey, Daniel Cantrell and Anthony Williams lead a highly professional and friendly team who can guide you through every stage of the construction process.
